I love it. I agree with copy paste - great!

This is a fully functional implementation of BASIC. I use it as a kind therapy or meditation. The pleasing logic of a well crafted program in a non-RAD programming environment is heaven sent. It is like building a wooden table without using any power tools. The programer has to hand craft each routine. Modular programming becomes an art form...algorithms are created out of the most simple commands. Now if someone would just write a dBase app!

I been using this app since day 1 and its a great addition to my commodore arsenal. If you own a real c64 and still like to code with it, you need this app. Its the perfect companion! Take your code with you and edit it on the go and import it back to your c64 when you get home.

That would make this much more interesting and useful.

Great Basic app to show the kids how its done. Includes all the tools from way back when. Graphics component is well worth the upgrade.

Ive been learning programming for a while now, and with little success with Python and Lua and such, I decided to try BASIC. After all, it is the oldest programming program I can think of. So I went online and found a tutorial, and I tried to make the following command: PRINT "Hello World!" Delay 2000 BUT what keeps happening to me is I say the first line and hit the return key to go into the second line, but itll automatically start the line, and terminate it. I dont know if its my fault if Im not doing something correctly, if its a bug, or if a Commador 64 did that, but either way, Im confused and found no support in the app support.

Very hard to type using the onscreen keyboard on an iPad. App works quite well.

Back when I first learned BASIC on a TRS-80. I felt exhilarated by the freedom of exploring and building. I built games, taught my classmates, built a check balancing program that stored your records on a cassette. Thanks for porting this emulator over to iOS. Im having fun with it and Im teaching my kids to code using your app. Keep up the good work.

This is a fun application. Kind of like an antique car.

I looked at the graphic on advertisement thinking this will draw graphics. Typed circle command, line...nothing happened . I contacted mr Ahmad and he went through the detail and resolved the issue. It seems ever line ( just like old basic) need to be entered. Cut paste of programs wont work. It is awesome now that i see my circles and graphics. Still my programming skills need some honing but it works. Thank you.

If you write something and change it, then try to run it it will run the original program you wrote...

Who wants to PAY for a graphics extension!!! Get rid of this for 5 stars. One more thing it does not support ALL basic commands.

It took me a while to figure out how to use all the commands to save, load, run, and edit, but when I did it was better than all those other Basic interpreters.

Nice app, reminds me if the days when basic was king of the world. This beautifully made app brought the kid out of me, I was writing programs in minutes, though I dont know what Ill do with this other than exercise my brain. One comment- please allow the cursors color to be changed: its nearly impossible to see a blue cursor on a blue screen! Obvious, really. Thanks for all your hard work.

Would this help me with petit computer?

For giving the user an option to hide/ show the title bar in graphics modes! This app is very useful! (and fun!) (screen 2 is still slow, compared to earlier versions, but wth, you cant have everything...

Easily control

Having BASIC from the classic C64 on my iPad and iPhone is just marvellous! Its really well implemented and a lot of fun to use. This is how I started using computers 30 years ago, and Ive always had a soft spot for this dialect of BASIC. Works great. Thanks, Ahmed!
